Can I Take Peptides?
Before starting any peptide, assess your health status. This guide covers the key contraindications.
General Contraindications
Do NOT use peptides if you have:
- ✕Active cancer or history of cancer
- ✕Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- ✕Under 18 years old
- ✕Severe kidney or liver disease
GLP-1 Specific (Retatrutide, Tirzepatide, Semaglutide)
Do NOT use GLP-1 agonists if you have:
- ⚠Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
- ⚠Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2)
- ⚠History of pancreatitis
