How We Compared These Labs

This is an evidence page, not a scored ranking. We compared the same eight independent labs already listed here and profiled in depth, reading each lab's own website, the public accreditation or licence registry it names (A2LA, PJLA, CMS, NPI, RDAP and CPSC among them), and any independent public record we could open. Cross-cutting claims trace to the WHO, 21 CFR 211.84, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and FDA guidance.³⁴¹

All records were fetched 2026-09-13 unless an Internet Archive snapshot date is given. For each lab we recorded seven dimensions:

We assert no numeric rating or score, and we invented no first-hand result. Where we highlight a lab as a common first test, that is an editorial note about how widely its certificates are published, not a measured ranking. PeptidesVietnam has not commissioned any test from any listed lab and holds no first-hand COA, so every figure below is a lab or registry publication, quoted, not our own measurement. Where a page returned a 403, a Cloudflare challenge or a login wall, that is recorded as a tooling limit, never as evidence a lab lacks something. A supplier's own COA tells you what they want you to believe. A third-party lab COA tells you what is actually in the vial. Independent testing is the check that catches a mislabel or a low-purity batch before it reaches a syringe.¹

Methods and instruments: The lab names HPLC as the core method on each per compound pricelist page, quoted verbatim as "Testing method: HPLC" with a result format of "mg per vial and peptide purity" for a finished vial.⁷ Mass spectrometry work is offered only as a paid add on, not the default: the services page lists "GCMS/LCMS screening for contamination" and a standalone "CHNS mass report".¹¹ The home page describes the work only in general terms and names no instrument brand or model.⁶
Accreditation or licence: No accreditation or licence claim appears on the lab's own home, services, verification, or pricelist pages.⁶ Two independent third parties record the gap: a peptigrity guide states Janoshik "does not currently hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation", and a Trustpilot reviewer writes "they don't even have basic ISO 17025 certification".¹⁴¹⁵
Price: Pricing is published per compound in USD with a CZK equivalent, bundling identity, amount and purity. From the pricing page (Internet Archive snapshot 2025-12-21): common research peptides "PT-141, Melanotan 2, BPC-157, TB-500, TB-4, GHRP-2, GHRP-6" at "$180" (3740 CZK), and "Semaglutide" at "$300" (6233 CZK).⁹ Per compound pages give Semax at "$240.00" (4,913 CZK) and AICAR at "$380.00" (7,806 CZK), with AICAR flagged as not a peptide so no purity is measured.⁷⁸ These are Internet Archive snapshots: the live janoshik.com pricelist was not reachable at recheck on 2026-09-13, so the current figure is not confirmed here.⁹
Turnaround: Stated on the pricelist pages as "Average turnaround time: 5 days" from sample receipt, plus shipping time to the Czech Republic.⁷⁸

Methods and instruments: The lab's own techniques page names "HPLC with UV detection combined with mass spectrometry" and lists the instruments: "multiple Bruker QTOFs for accurate mass measurements", a "Thermo Scientific LTQ Velos Pro linear ion trap mass spectrometer", and "Waters Acquity UPLC series HPLCs", adding "This instrumentation is operated under Good Laboratory Practice".¹⁷ The COA page states it will "frequently analyze peptides, SARMS, nootropics, vitamins, and other research compounds" and warns that "Purity testing does not test for activity, sterility/endotoxins, heavy metals, or pH."¹⁸
Accreditation or licence: The lab states "MZ Biolabs is DEA licensed: RP0584676" and describes itself as "a US DEA Schedule III licensed facility".¹⁶¹⁸ Issuing body is the US Drug Enforcement Administration; no free public DEA registrant lookup exists, so RP0584676 could not be confirmed against a registry this record. No ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is claimed on the site, and an aggregator states "MZ Biolabs is not currently listed as ISO/IEC 17025 accredited".²⁰ GLP is stated as an operating standard, not an accreditation.
Price: No published price figure for identity or purity testing appears on the home, COA, or services pages; the profile records this as "Cost: Varies".¹⁶¹⁸ Aggregator figures conflict and are not on the lab site: peptigrity states "Endotoxin testing is $175 per USP <85> (two replicates); capsule identification and quantification testing starts at $350", neither of which is an identity or purity price.²⁰ Treat those as unverified secondary numbers, not a lab published rate.

Methods and instruments: Named on the lab's own site: reversed-phase HPLC and UPLC for purity and content on an "Agilent 1260 Infinity II"; high-resolution LC-MS Q-TOF identity on "Bruker timsTOF / Agilent 6545" at "<5 ppm LC-MS accuracy"; GC-MS residual solvents; plus ICP-MS heavy metals, "Sterility USP <71>" and "Bacterial endotoxin USP <85> kinetic LAL" corroborated by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited partner laboratory in Europe.²² It states it "has issued more than 10,000 certificates of analysis since 2020".²²
Accreditation or licence: Not accredited in its own right yet. The site states "Quality system aligned to ISO/IEC 17025:2017", and the about page adds that its own "ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, started in late 2024, is expected to complete in late 2026".²²²³ Elemental, composition and microbiology work is corroborated by an unnamed ISO/IEC 17025 accredited partner lab in Europe; no accreditation body, registry URL, or certificate number is published on the site.²²

Methods and instruments: The lab's current site and its A2LA scope name food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and cosmetics methods, not peptide methods: quoted examples are "B12 (Cyanocobalamin) Assay by HPLC" and heavy metals "by ICP-MS" for "Pb, Hg, As, Cd, Se".³⁵ Current service categories include "Sterility Testing" and "Nutritional Analysis Testing".³³ The 2018 standalone site listed analytical, microbiology, sterility and heavy-metals work, with no mention of peptides anywhere.³⁶
