Every claim below is one the company made about itself somewhere on its own pages, read live where the page survives and from the archive where it does not. The third column records what happened when we went looking for the same thing from a source outside the company.

What Peptide Sciences Was and What It Sold

Peptide Sciences operated at peptidesciences.com on a domain created in December 2009, and its archived store history runs back to a first real store capture in 2013.¹⁹³ Because the store is now closed, the observations here were read from web archive snapshots. The site positioned itself around research peptides and stated across its Terms and information pages that products were for laboratory research purposes only, for in-vitro use only, not for human or animal use, and that buyers had to be at least 21 years old.⁶

The catalog was broad. Archived pages list peptides in vials, capsules, topicals, and blends, and the catalog, prices, and Add to Cart were browsable without an account, with guest checkout offered.⁴ GLP-1 compounds were part of the range: archived product pages show semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide, and cagrilintide listed as research chemicals, with prices such as BPC-157 5mg at 59.50 US dollars, semaglutide 3mg at 110 US dollars, and tirzepatide 5mg at 125 US dollars in the November 2025 snapshots.³⁴ Payment was stated as all major credit cards, with e-Check and ACH payable to P-Sciences, and shipping as free over 200 US dollars with same-day dispatch before noon Pacific; the shipping claim narrowed from worldwide to USA-only across the site's history.⁵⁷

On quality, the homepage banner read 99%+ Purity Guaranteed and stated every product is tested by HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, or both, in the company's own analytical laboratory, while the About page described USA manufactured peptides and, on the same page, manufacture through the most reputable research chemical manufacturing companies in the world.³⁷ What that testing language did and did not amount to is the subject of the certificates section below, and the independent test data that sits against the 99 percent figure is covered there and in the buyer-reports section.

What Happened to Peptide Sciences

The store went dark and a notice replaced it. These are the datable, sourced facts, kept separate from the parts no source establishes.

The cause is not on the record. The company states no reason, and voluntary is its only characterization of the closure.¹ Two record checks that would show an external cause both returned genuine nulls: the FDA warning-letter index has no letter naming Peptide Sciences, and CourtListener has no published opinions for it.¹⁴¹⁷ Commentary elsewhere has speculated about why the company closed, but no company statement supports any of it, so we record the voluntary characterization and do not substitute a cause for it.

After the closure, two things are documented. Lookalike domains using the name appeared, including officialpeptidescience.com, registered 29 April 2026, and peptidesciencesales.com, registered 4 August 2026, which is covered in the lookalikes section below.²⁵ And a secondary enforcement tracker's entry states that the shutdown left pending orders unfulfilled with no refund process; no first-person post from an original-store buyer describing an unfulfilled order was located in any accessible source, so that harm is reported as the tracker states it, not as a confirmed count.²⁶

Certificates and Lab Testing: What Is Named and What Is Not

This is what the company stated about testing, followed by what we found when we looked for the same thing. Peptide Sciences stated that every product is tested by HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, or both, and that testing runs at all stages of production in its own analytical laboratory.³ Certificates of analysis do exist and are retrievable from the archive, so the question is not whether documents exist, it is what they name.

The finding on the documents is a single line: every certificate of analysis read is self-issued on the company's own letterhead, and none names an independent issuing laboratory.⁸⁹¹⁰ No third-party laboratory such as Janoshik or MZ Biolabs appears anywhere on the site or in the archived documents, and the site made no claim of independent or third-party testing; its only reference to an independent laboratory was advice to buyers to occasionally have their peptides tested.³ There was, in other words, no separate laboratory to verify.

Independent test data does exist, from outside the company. Finnrick, which runs an independent testing leaderboard, published 132 tests across ten peptides for this vendor, 79 recorded as pass and 53 as fail, an overall 61 percent, ranked 258 of 301 vendors, with the tested samples analysed by MZ Biolabs and Chromate rather than by any Peptide Sciences laboratory.¹¹ Within that dataset some products score high, for example GHK-Cu at 91 percent and semaglutide at 81 percent, while others score low, for example CJC-1295 at 17 percent, and it records identity failures and fill shortfalls on several compounds.¹¹ A separate search of the Janoshik public portal returned a block and no confirmable Peptide Sciences report, which is a tooling result rather than a proven absence.²⁹

BBB, FDA, and Registration Records

Several record sets were searched. Each is recorded on its own terms, and a genuine null is kept separate from a tooling block throughout.

A null is an absence of a record, not a finding about the vendor. Where a database returned nothing for this brand, that means the named database held nothing on the date it was searched, and where a route was blocked, that is stated as a block rather than as an absence.

Social and Community Presence

The store's homepage structured data, its JSON-LD sameAs array, declared exactly five accounts the company treated as its own: Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and Pinterest.³ Everything below is either one of those company-declared accounts, an account-level null where the platform itself reports nothing is there, or a tooling block where our route was refused. Those are different findings and are kept separate.

The pattern across the declared footprint is a live X account, a now-unreachable YouTube channel that was active into late 2025, an empty Pinterest, and two platforms behind login walls that could not be read. The one account carrying the brand name that the company never declared, on TikTok, was created on 30 January 2026, which is recorded as observed and not characterised further.²³

What Buyers Report

Buyer comment was readable from three places and is reported here with volumes approximate and origin attached: an archived Trustpilot profile, the independent Finnrick dataset, and Reddit reached through a mirror because reddit.com refused this host.¹³¹¹²⁴ Nothing here is quoted at more than a short phrase, and none of it is treated as a verdict.

Two limits sit under all of this. The Trustpilot texts are from an archived copy of a profile that Trustpilot later removed, so they cannot be re-opened live,¹² and the Reddit sample is only what a mirror surfaced.²⁴ The one dataset that is neither self-reported nor anecdotal, the Finnrick independent testing set, is reported with its own numbers so a reader can weigh it directly.¹¹

Lookalikes and the Name-Confusion Problem

Two kinds of confusion attach to this brand, and they are separate. One is the pattern of similarly named vendors that predates the closure; the other is the set of lookalike sites that appeared after it. Off-site reviews are keyed to specific domains, so the table below records which domain is which.

The original company's own shutdown notice is the source for the impostor framing: it states that any website, entity, or individual claiming affiliation or succession is unauthorized and fraudulent, and directs reports to a contact address.¹ Registration records confirm that lookalike domains exist; whether any specific site is fraudulent is the company's characterization, and a Reddit report attributed to a poster describes a buyer who lost money to a lookalike that requested a money-transfer payment.²⁵²⁴

Separately, a handle carrying the brand name exists on TikTok that the company never declared and that was created on 30 January 2026; we did not establish who operates it and do not characterise it beyond that.²³ Off-site reviews and reports attach to specific domains, the registration records above show which lookalike domains appeared after the closure, and the original company's notice disavows every successor.²⁵¹

How to Tell if a Peptide Supplier Is Legit

These are the checks this review applied across the sections above, set out on their own because they apply to any vendor, not only this one. Each is paired with what this vendor showed on it, so the check stays concrete.

What Is the Most Reputable Peptide Company?

There is no neutral answer on the record. One page, pspeptides.com, openly targets peptide sciences alternative searches.²⁸ What the checks in the section above offer instead of a name is a set of criteria: published per-batch certificates from a named laboratory, results that can be cross-referenced on a laboratory portal or an independent testing aggregator such as Finnrick, a review profile still in standing, clear research-use-only labelling, transparent ownership, and a catalog viewable without an account.¹¹¹²

For a worked example of what those signals can look like on a vendor's own pages, consider how PeptaraLabs presents itself. PeptaraLabs states on its own trust and certificate pages that it is Ho Chi Minh City based, that it publishes batch matched certificates of analysis from named third party laboratories, that it lists its pricing openly, and that it keeps a public trust page carrying its licensed partner entity details.²⁷ Those are the vendor's own statements about itself, reported here rather than checked against the criteria above. The honest caveat, stated plainly: it currently serves the Vietnam market and is not selling in the United States today, so a US buyer cannot order from it now. That description is drawn from that vendor's own published trust and certificate pages,²⁷ and it is reported on the same terms as every other company claim on this page: where a statement is the company's own, this page says so, and where a record could not be retrieved, it says that too.

What We Could Not Establish

The gaps are part of the finding, so they are listed rather than glossed over.

The live shutdown notice, Trustpilot, the FDA and court indexes, RDAP, Finnrick, and BBB were read on 24 August 2026, some through a separate route where a direct fetch was bot blocked. The former store was reconstructed from web.archive.org snapshots. Where a fact is drawn from an archived copy, a mirror, a third party tracker, or a page we could not re-open to confirm the wording, it is marked in the list above.

Not verified for this review: the reason for the closure, which no source states; the exact legal entity, its registration number, and its ownership, because the Nevada registry was blocked and no owner is named; the BBB letter rating and complaint counts, which were behind a bot block; whether any product certificate was ever independent, since every one read is self-issued; the activity behind the login-walled social accounts; how many original-store buyers were left with unfulfilled orders; and whether the company holds a registered trademark. Where a claim could not be tied to a source, it is left out rather than estimated.
