Every claim below is one the company makes about itself somewhere on its own pages. The third field records what happened when we went looking for the same thing from a source outside the company.

What Soma Chems Is and What It Sells

Soma Chems operates at somachems.com, on WordPress and WooCommerce.² A direct fetch of the store returns a Cloudflare challenge, so the observations here were made through a fetch service, archived snapshots, and direct static file requests. The catalog is public: shop, product, cart, and checkout pages are browsable without an account, a Login or Register link is present but does not gate browsing, and an age gate asks whether the visitor is over 21.³ The homepage states that all products are for research and development use only and are not for human consumption, adds an FDA disclaimer, and states that the company is not a compounding pharmacy under 503A.¹

Because the catalog is open, the offerings are visible in the archive. Roughly 150 or more product URLs are captured across categories the site lists as aminos, sprays, peptides, liquids, blends, nootropics, research chemicals, research oils, and SARMs, and they include GLP-1 items, SARMs such as RAD-140 and MK-677, peptides such as BPC-157 and TB-500, and ancillary compounds.⁴ Archived prices from February 2026 include bacteriostatic water at 9.99 dollars, BPC-157 at 39.99 dollars, a BPC-157 and TB-500 pairing at 69.99 dollars, and an item sold as GLP3 RETA from 149.99 to 349.99 dollars.³ One item names itself in GLP-3 terms while the company’s own certificate identifies the contents as retatrutide, a mismatch covered in the claims section above.¹²

On marketing, the homepage states that products are at or above 99 percent purity, that each product is rigorously tested for quality and sterility, and that support is available around the clock.¹ The site advertises fast, tracked shipping on all orders, and its Terms state delivery within the United States only and payment via Zelle and Venmo.¹⁵ The Terms also list a mailing address of 128 Sunset Blvd, New Castle, Delaware, and require buyers to be at least 18, while the site wide age gate asks whether the visitor is over 21, an internal inconsistency recorded in the claims section.⁵³

On the entity behind the store, the outside record is thin. No business registration for Soma Chems could be confirmed: a Delaware entity search and OpenCorporates refused automated queries, and no matching entity surfaced in any web indexed registry.²⁷ The only address on the site is the New Castle, Delaware mailing address in the Terms, which secondary property listings describe as a multi tenant commercial building consistent with a mailbox, while a separate tracker instead places the vendor in Las Vegas, Nevada.⁵²⁷¹⁷ The address is present as stated; it could not be tied to a registered entity from any source we reached.

Certificates of Analysis and the Two Named Laboratories

This is what the company states about testing, followed by what we found when we looked for the same thing. Soma Chems states that products are at or above 99 percent purity and that each product is rigorously tested for quality and sterility.¹ Actual certificate documents were found and retrieved directly from the site’s upload directory this session: thirteen certificates were read.⁸⁹ They name two issuing laboratories, and the two stand on very different footing.

Freedom Diagnostics Testing is the laboratory whose work can be checked. Its website resolves, describes a peptide purity testing laboratory at a Franklin, Tennessee address, states it was established in 2023, and claims more than 42,000 public certificates searchable by anyone.¹³ Its certificate on the store, for a CJC-1295 and ipamorelin blend, carries the accession number Soma2602120320 and the line Searchable via FreedomDiagnosticsTesting.com.⁹ We queried that public database for the company Soma and it returned 262 certificate codes dated 7 July 2025 to 14 August 2026, including that exact accession.¹⁴ That independently corroborates that Freedom Diagnostics has issued certificates naming Soma Chems as its client, continuously, since July 2025. A third listing site separately records a Soma Chems entry attributed to Freedom Diagnostics.³⁵

Chromate is the laboratory whose work could not be checked. The chromate.org site resolves and presents itself as an analytical service with a Verify portal, but it shows no street address, no accreditation claim, and no corporate identity, and its homepage carries the phrase Independant analysis, misspelled.¹⁵ The Chromate certificates print codes for verification at chromate.org/verify, but that portal is JavaScript gated and no working machine endpoint was found this session, so the Chromate codes could not be checked against the issuer.¹⁵ That is a limit on checking, reported as such, and not a finding about the certificates themselves.

Read directly off the documents, the certificates record the following, and two patterns run across them.

We then looked for testing evidence that does not come from the vendor at all. The Janoshik Analytical public portal returned a 403 on every route tried, so no Soma Chems report could be confirmed or ruled out there.²⁹ Finnrick, which runs an independent test leaderboard, does carry a Soma Chems vendor profile, and it states that as of 9 August 2026 it has not yet published independent lab test results for the brand.²⁸ So the one independent corroboration on record is the Freedom Diagnostics database confirming its own certificates; there is no independent, community run test result for the brand yet.

The net finding: named laboratory testing is real for the batches tested, and for the Freedom Diagnostics documents it is confirmable in that laboratory’s own database.¹⁴ What remains unestablished is coverage and, for the second laboratory, independence. Only a fraction of the roughly 150 product catalog carries a retrievable certificate, every Chromate certificate lacks a batch number, none of the thirteen records an endotoxin or sterility result, and the Chromate portal could not be reached to check its codes.⁴¹⁵ The purity claim is contradicted on at least one product by the company’s own NAD+ document.¹¹

BBB, FDA, and Other Records

Several record sets were searched. Some returned genuine nulls, some were tooling blocked, and the two kinds are kept apart, because a blocked search is not the same finding as an empty one.

A null from a source that answered is an absence of a record on the date searched. A tooling block is only that: the route was refused, and nothing about the vendor can be read from it in either direction.

Social and Community Presence

The store’s own pages declare no social accounts. The homepage HTML contains no links to any platform, and its structured data sameAs array and its meta tags reference only somachems.com.³ Everything below is therefore either an off site account the brand acknowledges elsewhere, an account level null where the platform itself reports nothing is there, or a tooling block where our route was refused. Those are different findings and are kept separate.

The declared footprint is small and off site rather than linked from the store, and several major platforms could not be checked at all. Both are recorded as observed, without reading intent into the gap.

What Buyers Report

The buyer comment that was readable is few and mixed, and it is reported here with its volumes stated and its origin attached. Nothing here is quoted at more than a short phrase, and none of it is treated as a verdict.

Grouped by theme, the picture is this. Shipping skews positive, three fast reports against one slow courier note. Customer service and refunds are positive in the two anecdotes found, with none negative. Product quality is split: the positive reports concern potency and delivery, while the negative cluster, two to three reviewers in late 2025, concerns packaging and spray hardware, leaking sprays, a missing collar lock, a half empty vial, and a faulty nasal spray mechanism, rather than potency.¹⁷¹⁸ The certificates are not discussed by buyers directly.

Two limits sit under all of this. Every sample here is small, single digit review counts on each platform, and one aggregator score, the 8.5 out of 10 Trusted rating, comes from a tracker rather than an independent authority and is marked as such in the sources.¹⁷ And Reddit, which would usually carry the most discussion, could not be read at all, so the largest potential body of comment is simply unmeasured.³³

Is Soma Chems a Rebrand of Amino Asylum?

This is the question that dominates community discussion of the brand, so it is set out on its own, with the one hard artifact separated from the secondary reporting around it.

Put together: one archived redirect parameter is verifiable, the naming of the predecessor and the reported raid are secondary, and the brand does not address the matter itself. We report the artifact and the reporting on their own terms and do not assert the connection as established. There is no separate lookalike domain cluster for this brand of the kind that trips up buyers of similarly named vendors; the confusion here is over a predecessor, not over a rival using the same name.

How to Check Any Peptide Supplier

These are the same checks the sections above kept running into, gathered here as a set that applies to any vendor, not only this one. Each is written so a reader can run it independently.

What Is the Most Reputable Peptide Company?

There is no neutral answer on the record, and for this brand the rating sites make the point plainly by disagreeing with each other: one automated scanner rates the store 48 out of 100 and Caution Advised, one tracker scores it 8.5 out of 10 and Trusted, and its Trustpilot profile sits at 2.9 out of 5 across six reviews.¹⁹¹⁷¹⁶ Best-of peptide company lists disagree with each other, and the ones checked for this page were affiliate or SEO content, and they disagree with each other too. What the buyer guidance offers instead of a name is the set of criteria in the section above: published per batch certificates from a named laboratory, results that can be cross referenced on a laboratory portal such as the one Freedom Diagnostics runs or on an independent test aggregator such as Finnrick, clear research use only labelling, transparent ownership and contact details, and a catalog viewable without an account.¹⁴²⁸

For a worked example of what those signals look like when they are actually present, PeptaraLabs is one vendor whose pages illustrate those signals. It is a Ho Chi Minh City based operation that publishes batch matched certificates of analysis from named third party laboratories, lists its pricing openly, and keeps a public trust page carrying its licensed partner entity details, which is the posture the criteria above describe.³⁶ The honest caveat, stated plainly: it currently serves the Vietnam market and is not selling in the United States yet, so a US buyer cannot order from it today. We point to it because it illustrates the checklist, not because any single vendor is the universal answer. You can see how it lines up against those criteria at peptaralabs.io.

That description is drawn from that vendor’s own published trust and certificate pages,³⁶ and it is reported on the same terms as every other company claim on this page: where a statement is the company’s own, this page says so, and where a record could not be retrieved, it says that too.

What We Could Not Establish

The gaps are part of the finding, so they are listed rather than glossed over.

Store pages were read on 23 August 2026 through a text extraction fetch service, raw Wayback Machine snapshots, and direct static file requests, because a direct fetch is Cloudflare blocked. Where a fact is drawn from an archived snapshot, a tracker, or a route we could not re open to confirm the wording, it is marked in the list above.

Not verified for this review: whether Soma Chems is a registered business and where, which the state registry routes refused to answer; how much of the catalog carries a certificate, and whether the Chromate certificates check out against their issuer’s portal; whether any FDA action names the brand, since the fda.gov search was blocked; and whether the reported connection to a predecessor brand and the reported FDA raid of that predecessor are accurate, which rest on secondary reporting and one archived artifact. Where a claim could not be tied to a source, it is left out rather than estimated.
