CJC-1295 Ipamorelin Dosage Calculator: Blend & Syringe Units
CJC-1295 ipamorelin dosage calculator math puts 250 mcg of each peptide in 10 units, for a 5 mg plus 5 mg vial in 2 mL of BAC water.
Type in your own label, water and target. The calculator gives the mL to draw, the syringe units, and how much of each peptide that draw carries. It also shows how far off one syringe mark puts you. It never picks the amount.
Disclaimer: the 250 mcg above is a worked math example on a sample vial, not a dose for anyone.

Your blend vial
Both vial amounts open at 5 mg as stand-ins, so set them to your own label. Until you enter a target, the draw stays blank.
The target or the units must come from you. This page has no amount to suggest.
What your numbers give
CJC-1295 strength
2.5 mg/mL
2500 mcg/mL, so 25 mcg in each unit
Ipamorelin strength
2.5 mg/mL
2500 mcg/mL, so 25 mcg in each unit
Set a target above to see the draw.
Units use the U-100 scale, where 100 units fill 1 mL and one unit is 0.01 mL.
Peptara Labs, our supply partner, sells CJC-1295 and ipamorelin together in one 10 mg research vial, listed as 5 + 5 mg.

Read the Blend Label First
The math can only be as right as the numbers you give it. A blend label is written one of two ways, and they lead to different answers.
- Two numbers, such as 5 mg / 5 mg, give the amount of each peptide.
- One number, such as 10 mg, may be the total for both. In a 1 to 1 blend, half of it is each peptide.
Mix the two up and every result doubles or halves. That is why this calculator asks for each peptide on its own line.
Which CJC-1295 is in the vial?
CJC-1295 comes in two forms, with DAC or without it. DAC is a piece added so the drug grabs a blood protein and lasts longer. In a 2006 study in healthy adults, growth hormone stayed up for at least 6 days after a single shot of the DAC form. Its half-life was 5.8 to 8.1 days.
The form without DAC is also sold as modified GRF 1-29. A 2026 review found no peer-reviewed study of it in people, so no half-life in people has been reported. Ipamorelin is short-lived by comparison: in a 1999 study in healthy men, its half-life was 2 hours.
The units come out the same for either form. What changes is how long each part keeps working, so the label, not the calculator, tells you which one you have. The CJC-1295 with DAC profile covers that form in more depth.

How the Blend Math Works
Both peptides dissolve in the same water. So the calculator works out each strength, finds the volume for the peptide you target, then reads the other peptide off that same volume.
Here it is for 5 mg of each peptide in 2 mL, with a target of 250 mcg of ipamorelin:
- Strength: 5 mg is 5,000 mcg, and 5,000 / 2 = 2,500 mcg per mL of each peptide.
- Volume: 250 / 2,500 = 0.1 mL.
- Units: 0.1 x 100 = 10 units on a U-100 syringe.
- The other peptide: 0.1 mL x 2,500 = 250 mcg of CJC-1295 in the same draw.
Disclaimer: a math example with round numbers, not an amount to use or a dose for you.
When the two amounts differ
Say a label lists 2 mg of CJC-1295 and 5 mg of ipamorelin, mixed with 2 mL. CJC-1295 is then 1,000 mcg per mL and ipamorelin is 2,500. Any draw holds 2.5 times more ipamorelin than CJC-1295, so you cannot pick one amount without fixing the other. The calculator does this for any split you type.

Pick the Water Volume, Then Check One Mark
Water sets the strength. It does not add or remove any peptide. More water means each mark holds less, so the same amount takes more units.
That matters because you can only stop the plunger on a mark. With 5 mg of each in 2 mL, one unit holds 25 mcg of each peptide. A 4 unit draw is then 100 mcg of each, and one mark too many is 25 percent more. A 20 unit draw is 500 mcg of each, and one mark is only 5 percent of it.
one-mark share = 1 / units in the draw x 100
4 units: 25 percent. 10 units: 10 percent. 20 units: 5 percent.
Disclaimer: the 100 and 500 mcg draws here only show how the error shrinks. They are not doses.
The one-mark check in the result card does this for your mix. It assumes one mark per unit, which MedlinePlus describes for a standard 1 mL insulin syringe. If your barrel is marked every 2 units, double the share. For units in mL across all three barrel sizes, see the insulin syringe units chart.

What the Studies and Forums Report
No study in people has tested CJC-1295 and ipamorelin together. We searched PubMed on 30 October 2026 for papers that name both. It found 11 records: reviews and a horse doping test. With the clinical trial filter on, it found none. The same filter does return the two known CJC-1295 trials, so the search itself works.
Each peptide was studied on its own. These are the amounts the human studies gave, as each paper reports them:
| Peptide | Amount | Schedule | Route | Who | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CJC-1295 with DAC | 30 or 60 mcg per kg, the doses the authors found best tolerated | One dose, or 2 to 3 doses given a week or two apart | Under the skin | People: healthy adults aged 21 to 61 | Teichman and others, 2006 |
| CJC-1295 with DAC | 60 or 90 mcg per kg | One injection, with blood tested a week later | Injection (the abstract does not name the route) | People: healthy men aged 20 to 40 | Ionescu and Frohman, 2006 |
| Ipamorelin | 4.21 to 140.45 nmol per kg, which is about 3 to 100 mcg per kg by our math | One 15 minute infusion | Into a vein (IV) | People: healthy men, 8 at each of 5 dose levels | Gobburu and others, 1999 |
| Ipamorelin | 0.03 mg per kg | Twice a day for up to 7 days after surgery | Into a vein (IV) | People: 114 adults after bowel surgery, on ipamorelin or placebo | Beck and others, 2014 |
Per kg figures are per kilogram of body weight, in the study's own units. We turned nmol into mcg with PubChem's molar mass for ipamorelin, 711.9 g/mol.

A 2026 review from Poznan University of Medical Sciences collected the amounts posted on bodybuilding forums. Its authors treat them as a record of behavior, not as safe or tested doses. For these peptides it lists:
| Peptide | Amount | Schedule | Route | Who | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CJC-1295 without DAC | 100 to 200 mcg per injection | 1 to 2 times a day, often with ipamorelin; 12 to 16 weeks on, then 4 to 6 weeks off | Under the skin | People: self-reported on bodybuilding forums | 2026 review |
| Ipamorelin | 200 to 300 mcg | 2 or 3 injections a day, often with CJC-1295 without DAC; 8 to 12 weeks on, then 4 to 6 weeks off | Under the skin | People: self-reported on bodybuilding forums | 2026 review |
| CJC-1295 with DAC | 1 to 2 mg a week | In 1 or 2 injections; 8 to 12 or 12 to 16 weeks on, then 4 to 6 weeks off | Under the skin | People: self-reported on bodybuilding forums | 2026 review |

In animals, ipamorelin raised growth hormone in swine without raising the stress hormones ACTH or cortisol, which is why it is often called selective. That was an animal finding, not a human result.

Safety, FDA Status and Sport Rules
The FDA keeps a list of bulk ingredients that may pose serious risks in compounded drugs. On its page current as of 22 April 2026, ipamorelin acetate is still in that risk group, called category 2, for outsourcing facilities, the large compounders. CJC-1295 sits in a separate part of the page, for ingredients once in category 2 and then withdrawn by whoever nominated them.
The FDA's own notes still stand on that page. For CJC-1295, it lists serious adverse events, including a faster heart rate and blood vessels widening across the body. For ipamorelin, it points to a published study with serious adverse events, including death, when ipamorelin was given into a vein to help the gut move again.
In the 2006 CJC-1295 study, no serious reactions were reported, and the authors called it relatively well tolerated, most of all at the two doses in the first row of table A. The 2026 review lists the problems seen across this group of peptides: hormone and blood sugar changes, fluid retention, muscle or joint aches, and injection site reactions.
A calculator trusts the label. Danish customs seized powders that turned out to be altered copies of ipamorelin and of modified GRF 1-29, each with an extra amino acid added. If the vial is not what the label says, no number on this page is right.
Both are banned in sport. Anti-doping labs report that WADA prohibits GHRH and its synthetic copies, CJC-1295 included, and lists growth hormone releasing peptides such as ipamorelin. For what the CJC-1295 trials recorded in detail, see the CJC-1295 side effects guide.

How to Mix a Blend Vial
A blend is mixed once, with one volume of water, and then both peptides come out of every draw. These are general handling steps, not medical instructions.
- Read the label. Note the amount of each peptide, and check whether the CJC-1295 is the DAC or the no-DAC form.
- Clean both stoppers. Wipe the rubber top of the blend vial and of the water vial with alcohol. Let both air dry.
- Measure the water. Pull the volume of bacteriostatic water you picked, such as 2 mL, into a clean syringe.
- Let it run down the glass. Aim the needle at the inside wall so the water slides down slowly instead of hitting the powder.
- Roll, do not shake. Turn the vial gently between your fingers until the powder is gone and the liquid looks clear.
- Write the strength on it. Mark the date and the mcg per mL of each peptide, then store it the way the supplier sheet says.
Bacteriostatic water has a preservative, benzyl alcohol, and its label calls the bottle a multiple-dose container you can draw from more than once. Our BAC water vs sterile water FAQ explains how it differs from plain sterile water.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many units is 250 mcg in a 10 mg CJC-1295 ipamorelin vial?
It depends on what the 10 mg means and how much water you add. If the vial holds 5 mg of each peptide and you add 2 mL, each one is 2,500 mcg per mL. Then 250 mcg of one peptide is 0.1 mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe, and the same 10 units carries 250 mcg of the other one too. If you mean 250 mcg of the two together, that is 5 units. Disclaimer: this is arithmetic on a sample vial, not a dose.
How much BAC water goes in a CJC-1295 ipamorelin vial?
No label or study sets a water volume for this blend. Water changes how strong the liquid is, never how much peptide the vial holds. With 5 mg of each peptide, 1 mL makes each unit hold 50 mcg of each, 2 mL makes it 25 mcg, and 3 mL makes it about 16.7 mcg. Pick a volume that lands your draw on a size you can read, and check it fits your syringe.
Does a blend label show each peptide or the total?
Look for two numbers. A label such as 5 mg / 5 mg lists each peptide on its own. A label with one number, such as 10 mg, may be the total, and in a 1 to 1 blend that means half of each. Type each peptide into its own box above so the math never has to guess.
How many draws does one blend vial give?
Divide the amount of one peptide in the vial by the amount you draw of it. A vial with 5,000 mcg of ipamorelin gives 20 draws of 250 mcg. The CJC-1295 runs out on the same draw, because both peptides share one volume of water. The result card shows the count for your own numbers. Disclaimer: the 250 mcg draw is only an example.
Can I use this for separate CJC-1295 and ipamorelin vials?
Not as one vial. Two vials mixed with water on their own have two strengths, so each needs its own math. Use our CJC-1295 calculator for one vial and our ipamorelin calculator for the other. This page does not say whether or how to combine them.
Is CJC-1295 with DAC the same as the no-DAC form in a blend?
No. A single shot of the DAC form held growth hormone up for 6 days or longer in its human study, and the drug had a half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days. The no-DAC form, also sold as modified GRF 1-29, has no peer-reviewed human study. The math here works the same for both, so the label is what tells you which one you have.
Is this calculator medical advice?
No. It does arithmetic on numbers you type in. It does not choose a dose, test what is in a vial, or tell you whether to use anything. A 2026 review notes that major regulators have not approved CJC-1295, and the one patient trial of ipamorelin found no benefit over placebo. Decisions about either belong with a licensed clinician.
